Keith Moe, CEO

Licensed Interior Designer AAA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, SET, DID

  • LinkedIn

Keith has many interests including gardening, art, music, cooking and hiking. He draws inspiration from the prairie landscape citing the strong light, rich textures and the ingenuity of the people that live there as key design influences. Keith is a licensed interior designer with 30 years of experience. He is also accredited in the discipline of structural engineering. His guiding motto has always been “keep your head in the clouds and your feet in the dirt”.

Caston Richards, COO

Mechanical Engineer, MACH Tech

  • LinkedIn

Caston is passionate about the outdoors and loves to learn. He started out in the hospitality industry. From a dishwasher to a chef and a server to a bartender, it helped shape his work ethic and thirst for knowledge. That thirst carried over into a Machinist Technician certification from SAIT and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary. He is a high-energy human who thrives on engagement and activity; he applies that passion to every project he takes on.

Goose, CFO

(Chief Fun Officer)

  • LinkedIn

Goose has two passions in life: playing and sleeping. The harder he plays, the harder he sleeps; and vice versa. Trained in the Art of Fun at Dogma "University", Goose seizes every moment. As an avid lover of the outdoors, he is always at the forefront of ModBox's environmental standards, constantly raising the bar. While he is a bit wary of strangers, his loud bark is nothing more than a veil to hide his truth; he's a big softy. Look for Goose at his favourite outdoor establishment, River Park, trotting about like a goofy little pony.

In our work as design professionals, we have a responsibility to both the health and safety of our community and the well-being of our planet.

At MODBOX our designs adhere to or exceed the standards established in national and local building codes. These codes assure that the health and safety of the end user is considered both in the design and its ongoing use. We are also working towards implementing the principles of WELL building certification.

We all have a responsibility to do our part in not only protecting the environment, but also shifting the tide to a more sustainable future. At MODBOX we are working towards fully adopting the standards outlined in the NECB and LEED. In addition, we are keenly aware of sourcing of materials that have certifications which contribute to the goals associated to these standards.

At MODBOX we strive to work closely with the local building authorities in order to adhere to local zoning and by-laws. In doing so, we aim to be contributing and engaging members of each and every community we build in.

We live in a world that demands us to adopt technology in a way that keeps us connected; our friends, families, colleagues and clients to name a few. We share a need for connection and technology plays a key role in that endeavour. Our Studio is built with these objectives in mind.
